Gamers select a seed among those offered by a favorite site, choose a pot, then they plant the seed, and they're off. The adventure starts here! The goal of the exercise is simple: to grow your plant! To do this, gamers have to visit the site regularly, to care for their protegees and give them affection. They have four basic resources on site: water, fertilizer, light and heat. But the point is to know how to use them, and sometimes, to find them (hidden resources). As a full-fledged member of a cyber-gardening community, websurfers communicate with each other through the permanent chat site and the gamers' message board.

Marketing operation on Internet, out of it and terribly efficient. The aim was to maximise the audience of 7 websites: each participating site retains control over its own registered GGS gamers, while a “ring” system rotates the audience from site to site (mutual marketing). The purpose of the game was the robbery of gnomes. The operation was a real success: more than 2,5 millions of individual player, and more than 6.500 for the final drawing…
